The Real Scruffy Puppy

Just in case you are wondering the origin of the “Scruffy Puppy” name … here is the company namesake in all his scruffy glory. His name is Augie Doggie Doublestuff, a Miniature Schnauzer Puppy that joined our family in Nov 2005. We became instantly infatuated with this scruffy little bumpkin.

You may notice a striking resemblance to the cute dog in our new logo. Ah, very perceptive you are, grasshopper! You are absolutely right … artist Mark Grounard did a fantastic job of illustrating Augie for our new Scruffy Puppy logo. A preview of which you can see here at the right.
