(Availability can be found in each product description). We ship our products, US First Class Mail and Priority Mail, which means your package should arrive in just a few days.

You Asked For More Cat Stuff

Well, you asked for more cat themed gifts and we listened. We’ve brought in a gorgeous hand-hooked wool tabby cat rug, and two cute tapestry cat shaped pillow that we think you will love.

These adorable tabby cats would be wonderful gifts for any cat lover. The tapestry pillows measure 16″ tall by 11″ wide and come in either a brown or orange tabby cat version. You’ll do a double-take when you see these green-eyed cuties tucked into the corner of your sofa!

The beautiful wool hooked rug comes only in the brown tabby cat color, and is backed with a cotton canvas backing. This handsome cat rug measures 33.5 inches tall by 23 inches wide. It could serve as a unique throw rug or wall hanging.

The Real Scruffy Puppy

Just in case you are wondering the origin of the “Scruffy Puppy” name … here is the company namesake in all his scruffy glory. His name is Augie Doggie Doublestuff, a Miniature Schnauzer Puppy that joined our family in Nov 2005. We became instantly infatuated with this scruffy little bumpkin.

You may notice a striking resemblance to the cute dog in our new logo. Ah, very perceptive you are, grasshopper! You are absolutely right … artist Mark Grounard did a fantastic job of illustrating Augie for our new Scruffy Puppy logo. A preview of which you can see here at the right.

Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

Well, Mother’s Day is less than 3 weeks away and I’ll bet you could use a gift suggestion or two. We carry so many perfect gifts for any Mom with a passion for dogs. It’s hard to choose just one to spotlight.

Gift idea #1: We’ll start small, with our wonderful pewter dog breed charms attached to a golden lobster-claw clasp, and embellished with 2 sweet little gold-plated leaves. (a Scruffy Puppy exclusive!) These lovely little charms easily attach to the zipper of her favorite jacket, or clips onto any badge-holder or purse. They look adorable clippped onto the zipper of those velvet hoodies that we love to wear.

For a simpler look, we also carry the zipper pulls with just the pewter charms/silverplated clasp (see our Greyhound example at the right – $8) or as a simple keychain. Both styles are available in a pretty gift box, if desired for an small additional charge. Another cute presentation, would be tucked into one of our cute plush dog breed purses.

Our Booth at the Farmer’s Market – Temecula

Have you visited the Farmer’s Market at the Temecula Promenade Mall? Be sure to keep an eye out for the Scruffy Puppy booth. Stop by and say hello. You’ll get a chance to see the exceptional quality of our wonderful products, up-close and personal.

This was our first effort at setting up a booth. It was a learning experience, to say the least. We learned we needed more tables, better displays, and a lot more endurance. The day was exhausting, but lots of fun. We plan to set up shop there every other Wednesday, so be sure and check our calendar … and then come on down and introduce yourself!

We are proud to announce the launch of our re-designed website. But there is more work to be done, as we stock the online store with hundreds of unique dog-themed gifts. It’s a long process, as we carry so many wonderful dog lover gifts in over 100 different dog breeds.

We know you want to see exactly what it is you are ordering, so we don’t think it will suffice to show a product in just one style and leave it to you to imagine what your breed might look like. Heck, no! We’ve made every effort to provide decent sized photos of each product, in every dog breed available. We hope you find something you love.

One of our favorite items is a beautiful 5-charm, silver-plated keychain, available in over 30 dog breeds. These unique keychains are so cool! They resemble a charm bracelet, with 4 dog lover charms plus a specific dog charm of your favorite breed.

We also carry each of those breeds in a Sterling Silver Charm for your charm bracelet. These charms are a substantial 7 grams of solid Sterling and are fully crafted in 3D … none of those puny, flat one-sided charms here. The back of the charm looks like the back of a dog.
